Being a new CTC and also in a small community of approximately 900 people, this was a great way to introduce older people to the CTC.

Word of mouth is really our way in the community but our latest release of a much needed community newsletter "Tingha Pebbles" was a great way to spread the word.

The choice of events proved really popular and the places were soon booked. We only have room for 8 comfortably. Next year we will look at holding the events in a larger area.

Comments on day one were “gee I’ve learnt more in this 2 hours than I learnt in weeks at the computer course held at the school”  Comments like this make you know you are doing the right thing!

All four events went well and it was a unanimous decision to start a Computer Group on a Tuesday afternoon after Easter.
